What did McBride SOMOS need?

One clear speaking offer that a school, college, conference, or company can understand in a minute, plus an easy way to ask for a date.

Yaya McBride has more than 25 years in public education and is a former school administrator. She wanted her student experience, Resilience: Who Are You Becoming?, to be the center of the site, with a separate path for each kind of buyer. She also needed a booking flow that did not depend on her chasing every message by hand.

What did StoneBridge build?

A multi-page website with a home page, four audience pages, a speaker sheet, and a connected inquiry and email system.

Four audience pages

Separate pages for K-12 schools, colleges and universities, conference organizers, and corporate and nonprofit teams. Each one speaks to that buyer’s concerns and ends in a booking request.

Speaking inquiry form

Visitors describe their school, organization, or event. Yaya is notified, and the sender gets an automatic reply that sets the expectation for when she will respond.

Audience-based email

People who sign up on a K-12, higher ed, or conference page get a welcome email written for that audience, followed by two short follow-up notes that stop once they send an inquiry.

Credibility built in

A “Spoken & Featured In” logo strip, a speaker sheet, and a free One-Page Reset download on the K-12 page that turns interest into a conversation.

How does the site help visitors book?

Every page points to one next step, and the form behind it handles the follow-up automatically.

  • A single primary action.“Book Yaya to speak” stays in the navigation on every page and leads to the inquiry form.
  • Pages written for each buyer.A superintendent and a corporate HR lead ask different questions, so each gets their own page instead of one general pitch.
  • Quick answers to “who is this person?”The 25-plus-years credential, press and partner logos, and a speaker sheet sit near the top of the page.
  • Scheduling links where they help.Visitors who prefer a call can book a short check-in directly from the contact page.

How was it built and hosted?

As a fast static site on its own custom domain, with search and AI-readiness basics in place from the start.

The site is plain HTML and CSS with no heavy page builder, so pages load quickly on phones. It runs on Hostinger under the client’s own domain. Each page carries its own title, description, canonical URL, and structured data so search engines and AI assistants can tell who Yaya is and what she offers, and the site is set up with Google Analytics and Search Console.
